A while back I posted about some amazing built-in bookshelves. My love for these bookshelves comes not only from my love of books, but also for bookends. Right now our bookshelves are unable to accommodate all of our books, let alone bookends. But hopefully one day I will have more than enough bookshelves so I can have some great bookends.
Ha ha I am like you and have no room for books or bookends...wish I did...maybe I need to get rid of some of my books so I can get some of those cute ones!
These are so cool! I buy the awesome cube shelves from IKEA so usually bookends are not needed but I would love to have the golden gate bridge on my shelf lie that!
Hello Sherri Lynn! ^^ (I read your about page) Thank you so much for the comment! :) I got the fabric on a sale at a local shop a while back. I think I paid 25% of the original price, so a real bargain!
I share your love for books and bookends. I'm almost done refurbishing one of the rooms I'm doing over the summer at my parents' house and for some (insane) reason I decided to build a bookcase from scratch to fill one of the walls. I originally wanted it to be a built in, but I've never built anything every before, so I soon realized it would just have been too big a challenge. But a bookcase slowly appeared none the less! I thought I'd post some pictures tonight! I hope you'll stop by and tell me what you think :)
LOVE the white whale. I think it's part of the same Jonathan Adler range which has an elephant money box I adore. I think those bicycle bookends are great too.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, it's always nice to see a new face and I'm glad to have now discovered your blog too.
I love the idea of bookends, but I always seem to be able to fill up a shelf with books, and having bookends would take up my book space. In that way, I'm more practical over decorative. But they're still cute!
I love them all especially the whale! Now I just need a bookshelf so I can buy all those fun bookends, haha! Thanks for stopping by my blog, glad you liked the rose frosting technique!
I enjoyed seeing this post on bookends. I have collected childrens literature since I was a child and have many hundreds of books. I also collect vintage childrens bookends {usually a boy and girl combination}.
i have a pair of elephant bookends that i love. they add a little character and actually serve a purpose. love the poddle ones, too!
