Slightly Stationery Card Club

It's no secret that I love pretty stationery, so I have to share about my newest find! For the past four months I've been receiving the monthly card club from Slightly Stationery. It's five cards delivered to my mailbox at the beginning of each month, and I LOVE it. The subscription is only $15 plus $2.95 for shipping, which means each card is only $3.59. I consider this a steal because birthday cards at Target that are 1) not cute and 2) have lame words are usually more than that. I am all about sending someone a unique, cute card where I can write my own words inside! Each month there has been a birthday card and several all-occasion cards, as well as a thank you note and/or special occasion cards. I haven't had to buy any cards since I started receiving the card club, which is a huge win in my book, since I send a lot of mail! Here are some of the cards I've received so far...

June's collection

a combination of July & August's collections (since I mailed some before I could take a pic!)

September's collection

Aren't these just the cutest?! If you've gotten a really cute card from me in the past several months, more than likely it's one of the ones I've received from the card club :) I cannot tell you how much I love having a refresh on my stationery stash, and I especially love that the collections each month are seasonal (i.e. the September ones get all the heart eyes!).

You can get your first month free (!) by using the code SLIGHTLYFREEMONTH at check out. All you pay is the $2.95 for shipping for your first month!

the dearly box

Have you heard of the dearly box? It's a jewelry subscription box run by Lauren, who also is behind Elisabeth Ashlie jewelry. I've often perused her site and love the simple, everyday pieces she has. When I heard that Kate from The Small Things Blog (who also happens to be Lauren's sister) was curating an edition of the dearly box, I knew I needed to jump on that. I love Kate's style and love the jewelry from Elisabeth Ashlie, so it was a no-brainer!

This time I opted to purchase just one box instead of committing to a monthly subscription. I love that you can choose whether you want the classic + casual box or the glam + chic box, because I'm definitely in a stage of life where I need classic + casual pieces. You can also select your metal preference (gold, silver, or blend); I chose gold.

So let's get to the good stuff - here's what I got!

Included in my box was a crossed bar necklace, three pairs of studs, and one pair of dainty teardrop earrings. I LOVED IT ALL. I'm pretty picky about everything (home decor, clothes, jewelry, you name it), so for me to have a box of surprise jewelry show up in my mailbox and actually like it is pretty impressive. I know I'm going to be grabbing these pieces all of the time. Especially that necklace! That is definitely my favorite of the bunch.

The verdict: loved the pieces, loved getting a surprise box in the mail, and definitely think it was worth the money I paid. I can't wait to order my next one! This would be such a fun gift to give or receive, or just to treat yo self (duh). You can order yours here!

3 Subscription Boxes Worth Trying

Do you receive any subscription boxes in the mail? I got Birchbox for a long time, but after a while I stopped enjoying the products they were sending, so I canceled it. I've debated back and forth on signing up for Stitch Fix, but because I'm so picky, I don't like the idea of potentially being out $20 and not ending up with any items. But! these three boxes I would actually be interested in trying, because I think they would be worth it!

Evereve Trendsend
A couple of outfits that you can mix + match. Plus, you only pay for what you keep!

A lifestyle box with items for fashion, beauty, food, home, and fitness. I love the variety!

Cute + unique notecards for those of us that still send snail mail.

Do you already receive any of these? What's your experience - yay or nay?
