  3. you are too cute - "celebrating our love and life together" - i love the excitement. always good to see a happy marriage and people celebrating it. we already did v-day too - we ordered in some pasta, i made dessert and we exchanged small gifts. i love the simple way we approach the holiday and just try to appreciate one another. your homemade valentines look awesome, too!

  13. adorable! :-)

My husband wanted to have "my" Valentine's Day on Saturday when he was off, so he did the dishes and some laundry and made homemade waffles from scratch (not an easy recipe either!), and then he made a special Valentine's dinner - Chicken Parmesan. It was lovely.

We are celebrating tomorrow as a family, and it will be my turn to cook. :-)
    Enjoy your special night tonight!

  14. Painted Charis' nails today. She sat very still and rather likes the pink "finger paint" as she calls it. Thank you for the fun surprise you sent her!
