Last night we were at the mall and Christmas music was playing and all of the Christmas displays were up! I just mentioned last week I hadn't completed my fall decorating, and now I'm getting robbed of the month of November! But I am going to hold onto fall as long as I can. I love Christmas but not until after Thanksgiving (except for the Christmas shopping I've already done)! In decorating our house I like a simplistic, clean look. Here are a few fall touches from around our home.
{fall flowers & a cinnamon candle on a silver tray}
{pinecones & cranberries in an apothecary jar}
{the remaining candy corn in the candy dish}
{apples in a glass bowl}
{give thanks pumpkin candle-holder}
{pinecones on my front door instead of a wreath}
{a mini pumpkin on the bookshelf}
Have you started decorating for Christmas? Or are you still enjoying fall?
I love the pinecones on your front door and your apothecary jar! I haven't started decorating for Christmas yet, but I can't hardly wait!

Such a festive home Sherri! I like your front door so much :-) I'm keeping up our fall decorations until the friday after thanksgiving...until then Christmas (with the exception of shopping) will have to wait its turn :-)
ReplyDeleteNo Christmas decorating until after Thanksgiving in this house! However, I'm starting to line up all my Christmas decor projects; hoping I have enough time to complete them all! I love your flowers, they are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteYou are so festive! Everything looks prefect :)
ReplyDeleteI really don't have many decorations up...I blame the b-day party. Actually I have a hard time finding stuff that isn't cheesy...I need to DIY it your style!
ReplyDeleteI loooove the pinecones instead a wreath. I'm still decorated for fall, too early for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteas a huge christmas lover, i find it disgraceful to decorate before thanksgiving. so no. hoooooooooowever, i do listen to carols in the privacy of my home (but i don't subject anyone else to it, so does it really happen if i'm the only one who can hear it? deep thoughts). and i love your fall decorating. especially those flowers!
ReplyDeleteLove your pine cone wreath alternative! So creative and pretty! xo
ReplyDeletei havent even thought of x-mas yet.!!!! its still way to early! i am trying to hold on to fall for as long as i can!
