We knew we wanted to have one last little getaway before the baby arrived, and I was not feeling up to flying or even driving very far. So! we decided on Savannah. Neither of us had been before, but we wanted warm weather, good food, and time to relax. We wanted the warmest weather possible, so we went the end of April. If weather isn't a factor, I would suggest traveling before the third trimester of pregnancy, when you're still getting around comfortably, sleeping better, and still have a little more energy.

We had a great time and were able to do everything we wanted during our mini vacation! We went to the beach and had beautiful weather! We even got in the (cold) ocean because I got so hot sitting out in the sun. We lounged by the hotel pool, walked around downtown, ate good seafood, listened to good live music, and just enjoyed being together. It was a little bittersweet knowing our vacations just the two of us will be limited in the future, but we cannot wait for our little girl to arrive! More details on our trip below, if you're interested.
