An easy way to make a statement in a room is with a unique lamp or light fixture. Stores like Anthropologie and Restoration Hardware have some amazing lighting selections if you have the budget for them, or you can always browse pinterest for a cheaper DIY. I rounded up a few of my favorites of each below.
love 2, 3 and 5. when i have a house i will have a chandelier in the foyer or the dining room and it will be kick-ass. the antique shops in new orleans that were filled with them made my heart skip a beat.
ReplyDeleteI ADORE those teacup lights! They're so fun and whimsical.
ReplyDeleteThe wreath chandelier is pretty spectacular too. I saw one on Pinterest where they used a hula hoop as the wreath. Pretty neat.
The cluster glass pendant is fantastic! Really love that one.
ReplyDeleteI love #3 and #9. Lights are definitely something that can change a space. I always love how they do lights on HGTV.
ReplyDeleteI love the cluster glass pendant! It's industrial but somehow so beautiful. And those teacups would make me feel like I was Alice in Wonderland! I want to make one of those DIY paper lanterns for the screened-in porch I don't have... one day! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are all so fun - thanks for sharing!
having a great light fixture is one of my favortie ways to add a little character to a space! Too bad we are in a rental right now, and can't put to many giant holes in the ceiling :)

ReplyDeleteI wish I loved tea, but I don't. Otherwise those tea cup lights would be amazing :)
ReplyDeleteThe DIY wreath one with the lights is so, so pretty! Maybe I am clueless when it comes to lighting but don't you ever see some of these DIY lights and think to yourself that seems like a fire hazard? LOL Knowing me that would be my luck!
